May Monthly TBR

montly tbr

Jenn created Monthly TBR to show up the books you hope to get to within the upcoming month, and I love it. Feel free to visit her blog and join in! You know you wanna.

Good morning ya’ll!! It’s May! I can actually hear lawn being mowed and birds chirping. It’s wonderful.

So, let’s take a look at how I did in April, shall we?

Oh yeaaaa.

Oh yeaaaa.

Not too shabby! I read a total of 13 books in April. Out of the ones above, I never got around to A Mercy or A State of Wonder, and I DNF-ed The Marriage Plot. But then I read some books not featured above, including Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, My Beloved Brontosaurus, The Song of Achilles, and Holes. So basically, I am STILL kicking 2013′s ass when it comes to reading.

Now let’s take a gander at my May pile! It’s kind of large, because I know that the Bout of Books readathon is coming up! ALSO, this pile is unique in that there are NO library books in it! These are all books that I own. I really need to work on reading some of the books I already own, and I realized last month that the majority of my TBR piles seemed to be books from the library.

May Monthly TBR

From the top…

  • The Good, the Bad, and the Witchy by Heather Blake – This is the third book in a cozy mystery series I like.
  • The Telling by Ursula K. le Guin – Some sci-fi/fantasy by a really great author.
  • Lord of the Flies by William Golding – A book I’ve been meaning to read, and is on my Classics Club list.
  • Romeo & Juliet by Shakespeare – This is (of course) the No Fear, easy-to-read edition. Also counts for my Classics Club list, although I don’t think it’s listed on there at the moment… I never intended to read two Shakespeare plays, somehow.
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. RowlingReadalong! I actually don’t know if we’re finishing it in May or not, but I’m assuming we are.
  • The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling – Also for the readalong, of course.
  • The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba – Non-fiction about a boy in Africa who builds a windmill.
  • Brave New World by Aldous Huxley – Been meaning to read this classic dystopia for AGES.
  • Hope and Other Dangerous Pursuits by Laila Lalami – Fiction, honestly don’t remember when or why I bought this, so figured I should check it out.
  • The Professor and the Madman by Simon Winchester – More non-fiction, about the Oxford English Dictionary.
  • The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly – Yet more fiction I own that I should get around to reading.
  • Space Chronicles by Neil DeGrasse Tyson – More non-fiction, and this is probably the book that I’m MOST excited to read out of this whole pile.
  • The Case for Mars by Robert Zubrin – Non-fiction about why we should attempt to colonize Mars, and how to go about doing it.
  • Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me by Chelsea’s Family, Friends, and Other Victims – Some comedy to keep things light.

That is FOURTEEN books. I must be crazy. Plus, even though these are all from my own shelves, I do have 3 books waiting for me on hold at the library that I want to try to fit in as well… apparently I plan on not doing anything but reading this month.

So, what are you guys hoping to read in May? Come tell me! Obviously I need more book recommendations…

April Monthly TBR

Jenn created Monthly TBR to show up the books you hope to get to within the upcoming month, and I love it. Feel free to visit her blog and join in! You know you wanna.

Hooray, April! My April pile is kind of huge, but let’s take a look at how I managed in March, mmkay?

March Monthly TBR completed

Woot! Look at all those red lines! The only one I never got to was Boneshaker, which is disappointing. Also I got about halfway through The Map of Time before I DNF-ed it. It just wasn’t holding my interest. In addition to the 8.5 books I read above, I also read The Iron Jackal by Chris Wooding, The Unnatural Inquirer by Simon R. Green, and The Space Between by Diana Gabaldon. Take that, March!

Now, on to the April pile!

April Monthly TBR

Yes, that’s Gabby sniffing the books in that picture. Anything, from the top…

  • The Wednesday Letters by Jason F. Wright – A general fiction pick that has been on my shelf for a long time now.
  • Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare – My classic pick for the month! Cause I really want to see that Joss Whedon movie that’s coming out, but I want to know the story already. This is one of those wussy editions that has the layman’s English on the opposite page, cause DUDE Shakespeare baffles me sometimes.
  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling - We’re already halfway through this for the HP readalong.
  • Something Rotten by Jasper Fforde – Because I really want to catch up with this series!
  • Ex-Heroes by Peter Clines – Zombies and superheroes. I’m so excited to start this book.
  • The Marriage Plot by Jeffrey Eugenides – I’m really trying to make a dent in the amount of unread fiction on my shelves…
  • The Hero’s Guide to Saving Your Kingdom by Christopher Healy – This kid’s book looks so fun!
  • Nexus by Ramez Naam – This is a new sci-fi book that’s gotten a lot of really good reviews lately.
  • A Mercy by Toni Morrison – Again, fiction I need to read. Also, it’s really short.
  • Fabricated: The New World of 3D Printing by Hod Lipson and Melba Kurman – A non-fiction pick. I’m reading this book right now. IT’S SO INTERESTING.
  • The Disaster Diaries by Sam Sheridan – This is a non-fiction about a guy trying to make himself as apocalypse-ready as possible.
  • State of Wonder by Ann Patchett – And yet MORE unread fiction from my shelves. You guys, I have a problem.

OKAY, so this may seem like a lot. But there are TWO readathons this month (the Weekday Readathon and the Dewey Readathon), so you know, that’s why I tried to pick a few shorter books. Plus I have a kid’s book in there. I’m optimistic!

I’m thinking about trying something for May – only reading from my own shelves, no library books. Which will be SO hard, but I really need to work on reading some of the hundreds of books I already own. What do you think?

What are you guys hoping to read in April? Tell me!

Top Ten Tuesday: Book I Wanna Read This Spring

Good morning ya’ll!

It’s Tuesday, it’s Tuesday *does a little dance* so it’s time for Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by the lovely folks over at The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s topic is Top Ten Books at the Top of My Spring TBR List. This should be easy :-)

Peter Clines

1. Ex-Heroes by Peter Clines  – I saw this at Barnes and Noble the other day, and it sounded really interesting. After seeing that it got really good reviews online, I’m so psyched to read it. It’s about superheroes trying to protect Los Angeles from the zombie plague. SUPERHEROES AND ZOMBIES. Goodness.

Cassandra Rose Clarke

2. The Mad Scientist’s Daughter by Cassandra Rose Clarke – This is a new sci-fi book that’s gotten really fantastic reviews. I think it’s about a girl and her robot. I really want to read it.

Christopher Healy

3. The Hero’s Guide to Saving Your Kingdom by Christopher Healy - I think this is a YA or children’s book, but it looks so fun! The various Prince Charmings from various fairy tales are often sitting on the sidelines, but soon they band together to protect their kingdoms from various threats. It sounds like a really fun twist on fairy tales!

4. Something Rotten by Jasper Fforde  -I really, really like the Thursday Next books and I have no good reason for not having read this one yet.

Jane Austen

5. Mansfield Park by Jane Austen – The only one of Austen’s six novels that I haven’t read yet. It’s on my Classics Club list and I think it’s time I crossed it off!

Barbara Kingsolver

6. The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver - I have had this book sitting on my shelf pretty much since the day it came out like 2 or 3 years ago. I really like Kingsolver (The Poisonwood Bible is one of my favorite books) so I don’t know what the hold up is, but I want to finally read it.

Veronica Roth

7. Divergent by Veronica Roth - This is a super-hyped up YA book, but I found it used for about $2 so I figured I’d try it. I mean, the movie is going to have Kate Winslet in it so maybe it’s better than the slew of other dystopian YA flowing from the publishers these days.

Jim Al Khalili

8. Paradox by Jim Al-Khalili – I picked this out when the honeyman took me book shopping for my birthday. It’s about 9 of the major paradoxes in science and explains how they’re not really paradoxes if seen from the right angle and using the right science. It sounds really fun.

John Connolly

9. The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly – Oh look, yet another book I’ve owned forever and still haven’t read! Something about a kid mourning his dead mom finding refuge in books and it reality and fantasy become magically blended… I don’t know. It sounds like something I would like, you know?

10. The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas – Another book from my Classics Club list that I want to get to soon. I literally know nothing about this story. The closest I can get is saying that I really like the candy bar (haha), so this should be interesting.

So that’s my list! And this is the tip of the iceberg, I promise.

What are you excited to read this spring? Tell me!

October Monthly TBR

Wooooo! Time for the new Monthly TBR, hosted by the awesome Jenn at Booksessed.

So, I’m pretty happy with my reading for September. Here’s how I did with last month’s pile:

4 out of 7! Not too bad. Buuuuut I also read another 3 books that weren’t in my original pile - Radioactive, Drop Dead Healthy, and Costume Not Included (review comings this week). So hey: 7 books total, a little over 3000 pages… pretty good month, considering what the rest of this year has been like. Also, painting those red lines over the books I read was crazy satisfying.

For my October pile, I want to read ALL THE BOOKS. This pile could have easily been 20 books tall. I was able to narrow it down to a still-t00-ambitious 10…

From the top…

  • Something From the Nightside by Simon Green – This paranormal series looks really interesting, and my friend has read a couple of them and seems to enjoy them.
  • An Offer From a Gentleman by Julia Quinn – Cause Jenn sent this to me and I wanna catch up on the Bridgertons and I love Julia Quinn. And I need some romance in this pile.
  • Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce – Have been meaning to read this for-ev-er.
  • Frankenstein by Mary Shelley – Cause I still haven’t read it, and it’s a classic, and it’s Halloween month.
  • The 4% Universe by Richard Panek - Bought this today! Science-y book about the universe, really really really wanna read it. Like I wanna go lay on the couch and start it right now. But I can’t, cause you know… I’m doing this.
  • The Last Dragonslayer by Jasper Fforde – This isn’t technically a new release, but it just got re-released in the US, and I didn’t think it came out until tomorrow, but Barnes and Noble had it out today and I was so excited I bought it instantly.
  • Coraline by Neil Gaiman – READALONNGG!!!
  • The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck  – ANOTHER READALONNGG!
  • The Diviners by Libba Bray – Eeeeek! So psyched to read this!
  • The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling – Which I’m currently reading and hoping to finish in a couple days.

Yeah… it would be a MIRACLE if I actually finished all of these. I mean, there’s a couple short fluffy books in there, but still. Hopefully Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon * later this month will help!

Soooo whatcha wanna read this month? Make a list, link it up!

~Sarah

* Sorry this post is so link happy. It had to happen.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Want to Read This Fall

Good morning guys! Soooo, it’s Tuesday, and that means Top Ten Tuesday by The Broke and The Bookish. Today’s topic is Top Ten Books on Your Fall TBR List. Wellll, I already listed the books I want to read in September in the Monthly TBR meme, but here’s the books I’m kind of hoping I’ll get around to later this fall sometime.

Sarah Jio, Blackberry Winter

1. Blackberry Winter by Sarah Jio - This comes out September 25th, and since I loved Sarah Jio’s last novel The Bungalow, I’m really looking forward to this one.

2. The Bad Beginning (A Series of Unfortunate Events) by Lemony Snicket - Can you believe that I have never read these books? Me neither. I really want to though.

Carlos Ruiz Zafon

3. The Prisoner of Heaven by Carlos Ruiz Zafon - I’m SO excited that another Cemetary of Forgotten Books book is out, but I really want to re-read The Shadow of the Wind and The Angel’s Game first, so it might be a while before I get to it.

4. Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce - This is a different take of the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale, and I think this would be a perfect Halloween-time read.

5. The Diviners by Libba Bray - Comes out in about 2 weeks and I’m so excited to read it! LOVED Beauty Queens by Libba Bray.

6. Medical Apartheid by Harriet A. Washington - I started reading this book a few years ago and had to stop because it actually made me feel sick while reading it. I’d really like to try it again and finish it.

7. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley - It’s kind of ridiculous how many classic horrors I haven’t read. Maybe this will be the year I can knock one off my list?

8. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle - Re-read! But I haven’t read it since I was in 3rd or 4th grade. And I really want to go on to read the other books in the series.

9. The Romanov Bride by Robert Alexander - I enjoyed The Kitchen Boy by this author so much that I immediately went on Paperbackswap and ordered his other books about the Romanovs, so I’d really like to finally read another one.

10. Mansfield Park by Jane Austen - The only Austen novel I haven’t read. I think I’ve been putting it off because I’ll be sad to have no more “new-to-me” Austen books to read, but I think the time has come.

What books are you looking forward to this fall?

September Monthly TBR

So, Jenn at Booksessed is quite a genius and created this monthly meme to showcase what books you want to or are hoping to read this month. I used to do this ages ago and fell out of the habit, but I think it’s an awesome way to kind of focus and motivate yourself to get lots of reading in. This meme gives me the perfect reason to start doing this again, plus I get to post pictures of my books, which we all know is half the fun :-)

If you want to join in, take a picture of your books and/or list them in a post and go to this post to link up. Do it! Do it!

Thank you, Instagram, for making my books look even more amazing than they already do.

So here’s my books! In order…

  • The Damned Busters by Matthew Hughes, which I’m already almost halfway through and I’m enjoying.
  • Murder is Binding by Lorna Barrett, who is an author local to my area.
  • Devil Said Bang by Richard Kadrey - this is the 4th Sandman Slim book and it just came out and I’m SO EXCITED to read it, but I’m waiting for the honeyman to read it first cause it’s his book.
  • My Horizontal Life by Chelsea Handler – Something fluffy, funny, and probably pretty skanky. But I REALLY need to start reading more books from my “biography/memoir” shelf.
  • The Case for Mars by Robert Zubrin, the science book I want to read this month. Especially with the recent landing of Curiosity on Mars.
  • Gilead by Marilynne Robinson – Have been wanting to read this for about 7 years. Bout time I got to it, right?
  • A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon – Cause I need a dose of Jamie & Claire, so it’s time for another re-read.

There is like ZERO chance I’ll get to read all of these this month, but a girl can dream!

What books do you hope to get to this month? Go to Jenn’s post and link up so I can see!

Readathon: let’s do this thang!

Readathon pile, to be read books

updated readathon pile. cause i'm indecisive like that.

It’s time for Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon!!! EXCITEMENT!

So, I made some changes to my pile for today…

  • Swapped Michio Kaku’s Physics of the Impossible out for Physics of the Future, because I just bought this one so I can make notes in it if I want (the other was a library copy), and because it’s his most recent book and when choosing science-y books to read, I prefer them to be within the last couple years.
  • Ditched Lord of the Flies by William Golding, because last night I decided I’m just not in the mood to read it right now. I also set aside The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams because I’ll read that later.
  • Added Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan, because I have been wanting to read it and last night when I was book shopping I talked myself into buying it so that I could read it today. Love the way my brain works.

So, here are the little introductory questions for the first mini-challenge, along with my answers:

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? NY state. Woohoo. Not, it’s all rainy today. But I guess rainy weather is good reading weather!

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? Physics of the Future by Michio Kaku, because I am a huge nerd like that.

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? I can’t even tell anymore… perhaps the jalapeno poppers. Or the turkey burgers we’re having for dinner tonight. Yum!

4) Tell us a little something about yourself! Ummmmmm… I’m 25, live with my honeyman who is amazing, have an easy job where I get to read a lot, and I read lots of different genres.

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? The one thing I’m doing different than past readathons is that I’m actually starting with the group instead of several hours earlier! Feel pretty good about it so far. I’m going to try to be very relaxed today.

So, onward with the readathon, yes? I think I’m going to start with something light, such as Betty White’s book. Because who doesn’t love Betty White? I’ll update back here in a few hours. @SarahSaysRead if you want to tweet me before then!

Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon is THIS Saturday!

dewey's readathon, TBR pile

readathon books!

I am so looking forward to Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon this weekend. I’m going to start at the normal time, 8 AM on Saturday morning, and just try to read as much as I can throughout the day. I know I won’t last 24 hours, because I have to be back at work at 2 AM on Sunday and I’ll have to take a nap for that, but still. I can try! I even already have dinner covered that day – the honeyman is making turkey burgers.

So, this is my readathon pile. Am I going to make it through all 10 books? Hell no. But that’s not the point of the readathon, the point is to just read as much as possible. And I like to have options in case a book gets boring and starts putting me to sleep, then I can switch to something else. The books in my pile are…

  1. Getting Rid of Bradley by Jennifer Crusie (romance)
  2. October the First is Too Late by Fred Hoyle (sci-fi)
  3. Lord of the Flies by William Golding (classic)
  4. The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams (sci-fi)
  5. The Madonnas of Leningrad by Debra Dean (historical fiction)
  6. Calculating God by Robert J. Sawyer (sci-fi)
  7. Serenity: Better Days (Firefly comic / graphic novel)
  8. If You Ask Me (And of Course You Won’t) by Betty White (memoir)
  9. Sacre Bleu by Christopher Moore (humorous fiction)
  10. Physics of the Impossible by Michio Kaku (science)

I’m pretty happy with this pile. A little sci-fi heavy maybe, but so what. I got some romance, some humor, some non-fiction… it’s a good mix. Oh and I may add on another book if I get to the library today, but we’ll see. I’m VERY excited to get started on Saturday! I need to catch up on my readaing. And I’m excited to go shopping tomorrow and buy some snacks… Man I love readathons. PERFECT excuse to read and eat all day.

I’ll be updating here on the blog and doing challenges and stuff throughout the day, and I’ll be on Twitter too. Feel free to chat with me throughout it!

Who else participating in Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon?

~Sarah

*PS – For those of you unable to participate on Saturday, the next Bout of Books Readathon is May 14th through May 20th and sign-ups just started! Mark your calendars!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books to Read This Winter!

Good morning everyone! So it’s time for Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish! This week’s topic is Top Ten Books On My TBR List For Winter. I have SO many books I want to read before the year is over, and sadly I do not think I’m going to beat my number of books read last year, which was 127. But these are the ones I’m definitely going to try to make time for.

1. Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan – This will be a re-read for me, because I read it last year and LOVED it! I’m just waiting for some snow to be on the ground before I start it to get that awesome Christmas mood going.

2. The History of the Snowman by Bob Eckstein – As some of you may notice, this is listed for the December poll on the right-hand side and it is winning by a whole bunch so since there’s only two more days until December, I’m gonna assume that this is the winner. Bob actually had some of his fans come to my blog to vote – for those of you that voted and don’t think that’s fair – whatever. Maybe it will encourage you to spread the word around to all your friends and stuff to vote for the book you want! All’s fair in love and war… and vote-getting. LOL. Either way, this book looks awesome and I can’t wait to try it!

3. Graceling by Kristin Cashore – Another re-read! I LOOOOOVE Graceling, and I’m happy that the honeyman has picked it as our book to read together in December (he hasn’t read it before).

4. The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus by L. Frank Baum - I had no idea that the master of Oz himself had written about Santa! I’m sure it’s bound to be whimsical and out-there, but I’m going to try to get a copy of this from the library today.

5. Crossed by Ally Condie – Actually, I’m hoping to start this today. But unless there’s a miracle, I probably won’t finish it until at least Thursday, which is December, which counts as winter! So there. It’s actually due at the library tomorrow, but I’m not going to return it until I finish it, since I’ve been wanting to get to it for ages now.

6. The Well of Lost Plots by Jasper Fforde - Book numero tres in the Thursday Next series. Yay for continuing on with a series! I was hoping to actually catch up completely with these books by the end of the year, but that didn’t happen. Just gives me more to look forward to next year, right?

7. A Feast for Crows by George R.R. Martin – I’m pretty sure this was on my fall list as well… Sadly I was sidetracked by other books, and in all honesty I may not get to this in December. It’s a big chunky book and with the craziness of the holidays upon us, I’m probably going to stick to shorter, fluffier books. But I’m definitely getting to it in January darn it!

8. The Fiery Cross (Outlander #5) by Diana Gabaldon - You know how I love my Outlander reads! I’m really bummed I didn’t get to re-read the entire series this year. I love these books dearly, but I start to get blogger-guilt when I go to re-read them because they’re massive and take about a week for me to read (since I’m usually busy) and then I feel bad for not reviewing other books in that time and yeah… Screw blogger guilt, I’m going to read book 5 through 7 hopefully in the first quarter of 2012.

9. Mansfield Park by Jane Austen – The only Austen novel I haven’t read yet! There would be a nice symmetry to finishing it before the end of the year, since I read three Austen books in 2010 and two so far in 2011. (P.S., It’s not the cover I own but I kinda love this pink one!)

10. random Christmas romance novels – This one is vague, but I’m a sappy girl and totally into the Christmas stuff this year – as if you couldn’t tell. So I’m definitely going to look for the Christmas romance section at the library today and pick a few up!

Soooo that’s my super-ambitious list! I definitely focused on books I’m trying to read in December rather than the whole winter because once 2012 comes, I won’t care as much what I read because it’ll be a new year! And I’m weird like that.

What’s on you winter TBR?

>Getting Ready: Read-A-Thon

>SO! The Dewey’s 24-Hour Read-A-Thon starts 8 am EST on Saturday April 9th! I’m very excited, I’ve been craving a readathon lately. Now, here’s the thing though: I work 2 am to 2 pm on weekends. My job basically allows me to sit there and watch DVD’s and read all day anyways, so time isn’t a problem – I just have to answer the phone every now and then. Hopefully it’s extra-slow on Saturday. But the issue is that I need to start reading earlier. See, I work 2 am to 2 pm on Saturday – no biggie, I can get lots of reading done. But I normally would have to be back at work again 2 am on Sunday. I switched shifts with someone, so I don’t have to go to work again until 2 PM on Sunday – but that means I need to catch some sleep Sunday morning before I work, which means I can’t be reading until 8 am. Did that make any sense? Anyways, so my participation in the readathon will be 3 am Saturday to 3 am Sunday (EST),so that I can catch some sleep before work at 2 pm on Sunday. I’ll be reviewing each book I read and finish, just to warn you. Anyways, here’s the pile I’m going to tackle – and I know I have no hope of reading all of them, but I’ll aim to finish at least 4.

Listed above is:

    • My Antonia by Willa Cather – classic pick
  • Changing Planes by Ursula le Guin – sci-fi pick

  • The Time Machine by H.G. Wells – classic sci-fi pick

  • Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie – romance & re-read pick

  • The Beloved by Kahlil Gibran – poetry-ish pick

  • Shades of Grey by Jasper Fforde – fiction pick

  • The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom – fiction pick

  • The Peach Keeper by Sarah Addison Allen – fiction / April poll winner pick

  • A Life of Reinvention: Malcolm X by Manning Marable – non-fiction pick

  • Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte – audio pick (for while I’m driving)

I know I’m going to read and finish Bet Me and The Peach Keeper. And I’m going to read a bit of that Malcolm X book (I’ve already started it and have been reads a chapter here and there). Everything else is kind of going to be based on what I feel like reading at the moment.

Oh, and did you notice the tan purse / tote bag behind the books? I bought that at Target specifically to carry all those books to work with me. Dedication I tell ya.

Of course, the 2nd most important part of the Read-A-Thon is the food. I’m thinking of bringing some fruit, popcorn, Monster energy drinks, and maybe some Lunchables to work with me. I like snacky food while I read. I’m thinking soup and fresh bread for when I get home from work, or as a midnight snack. (I love to eat soup while I read as well… not sure why.) I’m still debating what to plan for dinner Saturday night so that I don’t have to cook. Either frozen pizza, or ordering pizza, or sending the honeyman out to get Taco Bell… not quite sure. No matter what though, I’ll need lots of this the whole night:

(Treland (the honeyman) got me that mug around Valentine’s Day. Man he’s a sweetie.)

Anyways, so that’s my readathon prep so far! I’m sooooo looking forward to this. Especially because I didn’t have Twitter during the last readathon. I hope I don’t end up spending too much time blogging / tweeting instead of reading….
