Sarah Sunday! And Happy Mother’s Day!

image

L, Gabby, Gabby, and quote from Space Chronicles

Good morning peoples! And Happy Mother’s Day!

It wasn’t a very exciting week for me – I didn’t have many days off, and the ones I did have off were kind of busy. I went to visit my dad yesterday, and we chatted about books for a while which was nice. It’s SO funny to see people who aren’t usually readers suddenly get so into books. What else…

I’ve changed my treadmill intervals. I lowered the speed I usually run at, and I can apparently run for MUCH longer at that speed. The pace is about a 12-minute mile which is super slow, but I don’t even care. If I can just get used to running 3 miles (so 36 minutes) without stopping, I’ll be happy. I still haven’t started running outside yet, which I want to do but keep procrastinating on until I get new shoes (and because I like the gym). Also, for anyone that cares, I’m still maintaining my current weight. Surprising, as I sometimes feel like I’m eating SO MUCH, but there we have it. In August it’ll be a whole year since I started working out and that’s just super cool. Never thought I had it in me.

OH! We saw Iron Man 3 last week and it was good! Really good, except for the ending. Obviously I’m not going to go into spoilers, but man I don’t really like Pepper Potts. I also finally watched the Reese Witherspoon version of Vanity Fair and ehhh it wasn’t my favorite. Aaaand the honeyman and I started watching a new SyFy show called Defiance and we’re totally hooked. It’s about Earth being accidentally terraformed by this group of aliens and it takes place years later and the alien species (of which there are apparently 7) and the humans are trying to co-exist. And the main characters are Nolan and his adopted (Irathient alien) daughter Irisa, and it’s just so interesting and fun! I may do a whole Defiance post sometime later this week, cause there’s a lot to talk about there. But hey, look at me actually watching stuff! I don’t even remember the last time I watched two movies in one week.

So yeah, it’s Mother’s Day! My mom is currently in Florida and won’t be home for like a week, but Mom if you’re reading this – Happy Mother’s Day and you’re the best and I love you!!!

image

Mommy! With baby L.

Also Happy Mother’s Day to my sisters Heather and Amanda :-)

And hell, Happy Not-A-Mother’s Day to myself (and all the other ladies without kiddos), cause I totally love that I can go home and have date night with the honeyman tonight and hang out and relax without kids crawling all over me.

The main reason I don’t have or want kids…

Bookish update: Ummmm I think I read 2 books this week – Space Chronicles by Neil deGrasse Tyson, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling (which let’s be honest, should hardly count since it’s a very short 100 pages). I’m almost done with The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly, hopefully I’ll finish that before I leave work today. A lot of people have mentioned how much they love this book – I’m still undecided. I liked it a lot at the beginning, but all this time in this weird forest place has been VERY strange… I have no idea how it’s going to end, and I think that’ll be the deciding factor in how much I end up liking it.

YOU GUYS, Bout of Books starts tomorrow! I have four days off this week, so I should be able to TOTALLY ROCK this readathon. My goal post will go up tomorrow morning.

Okay, I gotta go finish this book now. I’ll talk to all your lovely faces (blogs?) later. Have a great week!

Third Ketty Jay book came, Outlander coasters from my sis, and Gabby being a dollface :-)

Good morning ya’ll!

Sarah update: Well I updated on Thursday on why I had been MIA for a bit there, so I’ll try not to repeat too much. Still waiting for the laptop to get fixed, so this is my last day of internet access until work again on Thursday. I have some posts scheduled though, and I’ll try to use my phone a little more to chat with you guys.

I had a follw-up appointment for my wisdom teeth removal on Friday, and dentist said it’s healing just fine and they gave me one of those irrigation syringes so that I can flush food out of the sockets easily. Which is SO GROSS and you probably don’t want to hear anymore about, but I totally cannot wait until these sockets close up completely. I’m paranoid about eating rice or anything tiny that might get stuck in there.

yuck

There’s some news about my little sis Amanda and L – they’re moving back home!!! She moved to a city about 1.5 hours away like 3 years ago, and she’s finally realized that it SUCKS there and she misses her family and friends, so she’s coming back by the beginning of May. I’m so excited! It’ll be so nice to see her and L a little more often. And mainly that she’s just leaving the city where she is now, cause it’s so crappy.

Workout stuff is going good. My intervals on the treadmill are now 2 minutes of running and 1.5 to 2 minutes walking, for 20 minutes. If that gets easier this week, then next week I’m going to aim for 2.5 or 3 minutes of running. I need to do more weight stuff though. My upper arm strength is SO WEAK. I just hate doing weights alone. Blah.

My darling Gabby appears to be going through her first heat. Apparently she’s a late bloomer, because according to the internet that usually happens anywhere between 6 months and 10 months old, but she’s a year old now. Anyways, she’s SUPER CRAZY affectionate, and she meows a little more often – not the loud howling I’ve heard people talk about, but just more often. She’s a quiet kitty anyways. She seems a little restless and just keeps walking around the house, and doesn’t really wanna play. Is this all normal-ish? We keep going back and forth on getting her spayed… if this is how her heats are going to be, it’s not annoying. She’s an indoor cat so there’s little to no chance of her getting out and gettin’ some from a male kitty. But the internet tells me she’s less likely to get cancer if we spay her… but some cancer risks aren’t affected if you spay them after their first heat… I JUST DON’T KNOW. I’m thinking about getting her pet insurance, so if she does ever get hurt or sick, it covers like 90% of all the costs… Is this how parents are with their kids? Searching the internet all night trying to figure out what the hell to do? Ugh.

NO GABBY, no kitty shenanigans for you.

Bookish update: I haven’t been able to finish any books this week. My last couple of weekdays off were busier than I expected, and work has been a little busy and all my downtime was spent online cause I’m internet-starved. I started The Map of Time on Monday and got about 100 pages in, but haven’t had time to read any of it since (what I read was good though). And I’m almost done with Vanity Fair! Only about 140 pages left, and the last discussion for that readalong is on Friday. And of course the last HP discussion for Goblet of Fire is on Friday too. So that’s at least two books I plan to finish this week!

If I can finish The Map of Time too, I’ll either be starting Moloka’i next, or The Iron Jackal. Let’s be honest, probably The Iron Jackal because I’m dying to read it. I don’t know how I’m going to make it to the fall when the fourth book comes out. Have you started the Ketty Jay series yet? Cause you need to.

Okay, I’m off to do some blog readin’ and then some work. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

First dinner the honeyman ever made me, Gabby in her laundry basket, L, L, L, Gabby girl again, and an awesome book.

Hi guysss!!!!

Sarah update: Well obviously, tons. Firstly, I’ve been kind of fighting a cold since Monday. I felt like CRAP, but then felt okay until Thursday or Friday when I felt all miserable again. So, that sucked, but I guess it could have been worse (and at the moment, I’m feeling kinda better). Amanda and L came into town on Monday night, which was GREAT! L is soooo cute and funny, lol. He walks all over the place, and dances every time he hears music, and laughs at strangers. We went shopping all day Tuesday, which was a lot of fun and I got a lot of great deals. ANNNNNDDDD I talked Amanda into getting L a Yoda costume for Halloween, and she’s going to be Princess Leia. L IS GOING TO LOOK SO CUTE AS A LITTLE TINY YODA. I can’t wait to see it. Best mother / son costumes ever. Gabby had to scratch L at least once, cause he was crowding her and trying to mess with her in her laundry basket, and Gabby just was not having it. I kind of like that Gabby doesn’t really like babies/toddlers. She runs away from L most of the time he’s here.

So, they left Wednesday, and I ran a lot of errands, and worked a lot, and blah. Felt like crap a lot, like this cold never fully revealed it’s ugly head but it made me tired and sniffley and blah. It’s also been in the 40′s a lot this week, which sucks. I need to get my winter clothes out this week. How sad.

On the weight loss front, for some insane reason my weight kept dropping everyday this week and as of this morning I’m down a total of 16 lbs. I completely passed the 15-lb mark, like overnight. I’m assuming that it’s because so much energy was spent fighting this cold, cause my workouts weren’t amazing or anything, and I ate just as much as I usually do. I was pretty convinced at first that the scale was broken, but it’s been consistent so… yeah. Yay! Also, in another 5 lbs or so it might be time for me to go buy some smaller jeans, and that’s really my hope is to just go down to the 10 to 12 area, so maybe soon. See ya, size 14′s!

Date night last week the honeyman made me dinner for the first time ever. (Sure, he can make me a chicken burger or pizza or other premade stuff, but this is the first time he made me dinner from like a recipe.) It was awesome and delicious and wonderful and I love him. Tonight we went out to eat, ran to the mall before it closed, went grocery shopping, and now we’re about to settle down to watch Once Upon a Time AND The Walking Dead.

Just for funsies.

Bookish update: Well, the Dewey’s readathon was this weekend! And I didn’t get to take any time off of work, but I still managed to read 559 pages (or roughly 2 1/2 books), so woo-hoo! I finished the second book in the Nightside series by Simon R Green, and I’m not reviewing all these sequels, but let me tell you it was awesome. I actually stopped at the bookstore tonight to buy the next two in the series, but they were out. Soooo, that might be a mission for tomorrow. I also read and finished How to Be a Woman by Caitlin Moran, which had some good parts but I also had some issues with. If nothing else though, it lead to a lot of fun discussions about feminism with the honeyman today, so that’s always good. I’m kind of looking forward to reviewing it.

I’m looking forward to reviews, and readalong posts, and just general relaxing this week. I have the next 4 days off and just want to chill at home a lot, because I’m working a lot the following week.

Anyways that’s my update, it’s time for tv! Hope everyone has an awesome week!

Good morning guys!

Sarah update: Well, I had four days off of work, which was nice. I wasn’t very busy – did housework, shopped a bit, worked out, saw my big sis and my niece and nephew, etc. I’ve noticed that when I try to take a day JUST to relax and do nothing, I usually end up feeling indecisive and restless, because I feel like I should be doing something. Also, even on days like that, if it’s a weekday I have to go to the gym, which puts a damper on relaxing a bit. Gabby seemed pretty happy that I was home a lot though – I took time to hang out and read/blog/nap on the futon, and whenever I was there she was curled up with me.

Anyhoo, so my week was pretty lazy! This week won’t be – my little sis Amanda and L* are coming into town Monday night and spending the day here on Tuesday. Yayyy! Amanda NEVER has a day off, so it’s been ages since they’ve been here and I miss them. PLUS, she’s actually (finally!) considering moving back here. She’s only an hour and a half away, but it’s such a big difference and I hate the city she’s in. So I’ll be spending some time trying to help find a cheap apartment for her – I think the sooner we can find her possible apartments, the more likely it is that she will move back before the holidays. So, that’ll be my excitement for this week – and then Wednesday I’ll have the day to clean and hang out at home before going back to work.

On the weight loss front, it’s been a better week and as of this morning I’m down 13.6 lbs. I’m trying to get at least 3 days in of doing free weights, in addition to cardio at the gym. (Weights I do at home, it’s just easier.) Some of my jeans are getting a little noticeably looser – well, probably only noticeable to me, but still.

Oh, and in case you didn’t know, Cougar Town season 4 starts on January 8th. I CANNOT WAIT! They made a goofy video called “We’re Back” to announce it. (And look, I learned how to use GIFs!!! This seemed like a good pick for my first GIF in a blog post ever.)

Bookish update: Well, I finished The Last Dragonslayer by Jasper Fforde, which was a fun YA read. I’ve set The Casual Vacancy aside for now… which probably tells you all you need to know. I’m just not enjoying it right now. I have however started The Grapes of Wrath for Laura’s readalong, and it’s interesting… some chapters I hate, but some are kind of awesome, but I’m having fun thinking about it while I read. I think I’m going to go to B&N later today and buy my own copy. I wanted to underline something yesterday, but couldn’t cause it’s from the library.

Also, the Dewey’s 24-Hour readathon is next Saturday! And I don’t know how much I’ll be able to join in – I’m going to aim for at least my whole work shift (which means I’ll start reading before everyone else, but whatevs), but I might be talked into meeting Amanda and L that afternoon to go to a pumpkin patch… we’ll see. I was really looking forward to the readathon as an excuse to let the honeyman take care of dinner and to work on my pile of books to read.

Well that’s all the updating I have for now! Hope everyone has a lovely week :-)

ALL THE PICTURES.

Good morning everybody!

Sarah update: Well the Bout of Books readathon was happening all this past week, so obviously this week was just full of awesome. I don’t even remember what I did most days… ran a lot of errands mostly. Like FINALLY going to the post office and mailing the stuff I had to mail. And sending in some paperwork for some stuff. And yeah. Things. (I’m only on my first cup of coffee here people, don’t expect me to be articulate.) Oh yeah and my work schedule was all wonky and I worked 5 days even though it was my normal amount of hours, I just worked like 2 half shifts. That wasn’t so bad, and actually gave me a lot of my reading time this week.

Hmmm what else… Oh yeah this week there was a lot of Dexter-watching, cause season 6 came out on DVD on Tuesday, and I’m pretty sure that for date night that’s what we’ll be doing. The honeyman loves his Dexter and I’m sure is going nuts because we haven’t been able to watch it since my sis got here. My little sis and L came into town Friday night, which of course involved lots of hilarity. After she got here we went out to dinner with my little brother at the Olive Garden and that was fun. L is taking little steps now, which is cute, and he has this big adorable goofy smile with a gap between his two front teeth. I’m enjoying this time with him this weekend cause now that’s he’s over a year old, his cute factor is going to start going wayyyy down. Saturday night we went and had dinner at my older sister’s house, which was cool and L got to play with his older cousins, and I was the only one there that didn’t have kids to watch and THAT was awesome. And today there’s some big fair and yay! Good thing I took today off :)

Bookish update: I love readathons. Just love em. They’re so motivating. I’ve already read more this month than I last month, and there’s still so much of this month left! Anyhoo, I finished 3 books during the readathon: White Raven by Irina Lopatina, A Witch Before Dying by Heather Blake, and A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. A Discovery of Witches was surprisingly very awesome and I have so much to say about it, but that review is going to have to wait for tomorrow. I already have the sequel, Shadow of Night, on my shelf waiting to be read. Part of me doesn’t want to start it yet though, cause I’ll finish it and want to read the third book but there’s not even a date or title for the third book yet.

Also, The Moonstone readalong is still going awesomely, even though I kind of slacked on commenting around this week cause you know, all the busy and readathoning. I’ve been taking part in a lot of readalongs lately, and I’m kind of struggling with whether or not I should write a final, spoiler-free review after the readalong is over. Cause otherwise the “review” consists of all four or five posts full of spoilers, and that’s not cool. So… I don’t know. I’m thinking about it. In the meantime though, I’m going to keep September readalong-free cause I’m kind of burning myself out with them all.

ANYWAYS I should stop rambling to go get ready to have a day full of fun and taking a bajillion pics of my cute little nephew. Also, Gabby keeps trying to get my coffee and I need to defend it.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Gabby’s new favorite spot to relax.

 Good morning everyone!

Sarah update: I had a pretty lovely week. Monday I relaxed, did some laundry, and ran some errands. My sis Amanda and baby L came into town Monday night, which was exciting but they got there so late that we kind of all went to sleep soon after. Tuesday I went and had lunch with some girls from LB while Amanda borrowed my car so that she could go car shopping for herself, and by the time she picked me up she had bought a car and was just waiting to go pick it up. Which we then did, and we drove her new car (a black 2001 Honda Civic, in case anyone cares) to The Olive Garden and had a great dinner of soup and salad. And then we did a small bit of shopping before she had to head back home. I stayed at home all day Wednesday and did nothing (I took like two naps) and then my older sister Heather came over for dinner, and we went shopping because we had coupons to use at LB. Plus I bought 5 really cute henley tee shirts at Old Navy, because that store is evil and they were so cheap and adorable. And Thursday guess what I did? Nothing. I read a little bit, I cleaned out the linen closet, and that was about it.

After work on Friday I went to see my father – an event in of itself only because he hasn’t spoken to me or my siblings in like two and a half months. I’m too lazy to go into the whole story, but we talked some stuff out. Nothing’s really better… he’s still an asshole, but I made the decision a long time ago that I want to stay in contact with all of my family, so that I have no regrets later on. So you know, I guess that’s okay.

This coming week is going to be a lot less fun, because it’s the week that the temp co-worker is quitting and we’re going to start training a new temp. Unfortunately until this new temp is trained and we’re sure he can be on his own, it means some 60+ hour work weeks for me. I’m hoping that he’s all trained and we’re happy with his progress within a month, because I scheduled my vacation for later next month and there’s no way I’m changing that. Oh well… at least this’ll be a few really good paychecks, right?

image

Gabby was totally feeling cuddly this day. She kept laying down next to Treland to get her belly rubbed. Cutie-pie :)

Bookish update: Well, first off I feel like I was a very lazy blogger this week. I didn’t post a lot, and while I scrolled through my Google Reader I was really lazy about commenting. And I was hardly on Twitter. I suppose I was going through an internet-detox after ABEA, lol. So you know, sorry if you missed me :)

In other news, I finished Feed in the beginning of last week and holy crap was it fantastic. And then I finished Deadline, the second book of the trilogy, yesterday and it was also fantastic, and I’m going to start the last book, Blackout, today. I have been DYING to talk to people about these books.

And then it came to me in a dream. Actually, it came to me at The Distillery, but anyways – I had an idea. And if you guys seem into it, then let’s do it. I’m thinking about hosting my first ever readalong of Feed. My review seems to have gotten a few people excited and wanting to read it, and if I hosted a readalong for it then we could all read it at the same time (re-read for me, obviously) and more importantly we could talk about it! Cause that’s what readalongs are for! It would be pretty laid back but SO MUCH FUN.

If you’re interested in a Feed readalong then leave me a comment saying so, and please mention what month you’d prefer it in – July or August. If let’s say at least… 5 people are willing to join then it’s ON! I’m more in favor of July because I’m impatient, but I understand if you guys already have readalongs or something planned for next month. So you know… let me know!

Readthon: 18 Hours in! Go, go go!!!

Will Grayson, Will Grayson, Sarah

For the Me & My Book mini-challenge over at One Literature Nut.

Ah, I look so sleep-deprived. That super-flattering (hardy har har) picture there is for the Me & My Book mini-challenge hosted by Becky at One Literature Nut. Enjoy!

I got absolutely no reading done since my last update, because like 5 minutes after I posted it my sister and L came over to visit and you know, I was all enthralled in the super baby cuteness that is my drooly little nephew. He tried to eat everything, including (but not limited to) the knobs on the entertainment center drawers and an electrical outlet, which of course made me smack his tiny little hands and he cried big tears up at me, but I refrained from comforting him for the most part cause I’m a good aunt.

And after they left I fell asleep for two hours, showered, and came to work. I really needed that nap.

Anyhoo, so I’m back at work now and as long as I don’t get too drowsy, the next 5.5 hours should be pretty uninterrupted reading time! Definitely time enough to finish Will Grayson, Will Grayson and hopefully start reading something else too.

So, we’re almost done! How’s everyone else holding up?

Sarah Sunday! (And Happy Easter too)

So this isn’t really so much a SS post, because ya’ll know that I was sick, my grandma is dying, etc etc. There’s not much to update other than that.

So Happy Easter! It’s not a real important holiday for my family, but we’re still doing a little dinner today. And though Grandma’s not really aware of too much right now, I like to think that she’ll know we’re all around her and that’ll make her happy. I’m making two chicken pot pies, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, and my mom is making a ham. And I’ll stop and buy bread, salad stuff, and dessert too before heading over to my mom’s. Amanda and my little nephew L are in town, though no thanks to Amanda’s ex (L’s father) – the bastard cut my sister’s break lines and put sugar in her gas tank. DRAMA, but I hope someone beats his ass, Amanda and L could’ve really gotten hurt. My little brother drove out to pick them up last night, and though we’re all super pissed we’re going to try to enjoy the day. And I get to see my little nephew!

Anyhoo, I have a crap ton of cooking and stuff to do, so I’ll leave you with this, in the spirit of Easter:

Sarah Sunday!

Good morning people!

Sarah update: So, most of this past week was dedicated to hanging out with my sis Amanda and baby L. As you can see, he’s getting bigger – he’s over 7 months now, and starting to crawl which is absolutely adorable. However, he’s also in that annoying age in which he cries everytime you leave the room and constantly pulls on your hair, so the three days that they stayed with me were exhausting. It also means I got practically nothing done those days, no reading, cleaning, etc.

And then of course I had to be back at work on Thursday, but work actually wasn’t that bad this week – a lot slower than usual. I got a flat tire on Thursday and had to have my dad come to my job and put my spare on for me, and then did a lot of running around with that. I still need to get a new tire, because we plugged the one that went flat but the tire should be replaced. Plus I have to have my brakes looked at, and an oil change done, etc. Ugh.

On the happier side of things, the weather has been GORGEOUS this week, in the upper 60′s for the most part. The honeyman and I even got to take a walk in the park late yesterday afternoon. I miss being outside. Also, some jeans at Second Job were discounted a lot so I got two new pairs for $20, when they’re usually like $50 each. Plus a super-cute new black shirt.

I’m so happy today is Sunday. I have a nice four days off this coming week, and I’m going to try my hardest to relax and do my own thing as much as possible. I even have a new yoga DVD to try. I may have to go do that car stuff after work today, then hopefully I’ll be grocery shopping with the honeyman. I’m planning on making scallops for dinner (YUM) and tonight is the season finale of The Walking Dead! And while it’s an awesome show, I’m kind of glad the season is over so that our date nights can be more varied – movies, mini-golf, etc.

Bookish news: I finished In Search of the Multiverse! It was such a great book, and I already have some other books about the same kind of stuff bought and waiting to be read. I’m working on the review today, so that should be up sometime tomorrow. I’m also about 60 pages away from finishing The Tattooed Duke. And then I’m not sure what I’ll read next… I haven’t really decided.

In other news, the big semi-annual Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon is only about a month away! It’s on April 21st… I’m debating how much time I might be able to take off of work that weekend in order to participate. I’m excited though, I’m already starting to single out books in my mind to set aside for that day. Yay!

I’m thinking about using my days off this week to start re-arranging my books, scanning them all into the Book Catalogue app on my phone, and making sure they’re all logged on my Microsoft Works spreadsheet. It’s a huge project and I’ve been putting it off until I knew I’d have a big chunk of time to start with. I’m really itching to finally use that app though, plus the library embosser my sis Heather got me for Christmas.

Anyhoo, that seems to be about it for this week. Not very exciting stuff. But that’s probably a good thing, I could use a little boredom this week :-)

Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

~Sarah

Sarah Sunday!

Good morning everybody!Sarah update: So, I had four wonderful days off that week and that was awesome. Monday I was kind of lazy, Tuesday I worked and then had game night, Wednesday it was in the 60′s outside and absolutely gorgeous, so I got my brother to go to the park with me for a bit. And Thursday I spent about 6 hours doing about 8 loads of laundry. Did I mention that I live on the top floor, and the washer and dryer are on the bottom floor? Yeah, that was fun. But at least it got done. Plus I went through a lot of clothes that had been laying around waiting for me to do something with, and I got rid of two whole bags of clothes, plus another whole bag of just random garbage and junk around the house. I love spring cleaning like that, I don’t like too much clutter!

Little brother EJ. Updside down, of course.

In much more interesting news, I finally took the time this weekend at work to watch season 1 of Downton Abbey. Okay fine, everybody and their mamas were right. It is a really good show. I’m tempted to stop at Target on the way home and see how much season 2 is. So, basically I hate Thomas and Miss O’Brien and I hope horrible things happen to them both. Sybil is my JAM, she’s definitely my favorite character so far, which is a shame cause she’s kind of a background character. I also quite like Gwen, Anna, Mr. Bates, Violet, and William. I am undecided on Mary… I mean, go her for wanting a happy life and whatnot, but she screwed up there at the end. Oh and her and Edith are so MEAN to each other. I swear the sisters hardly seem like family at all, they’re very rarely all seen together and never really “sisterly” like.

Sybil being awesome.

So, that’s that. I really want to see season 2 now… But it will probably have to wait until next weekend at least, because my little sister and L are coming to stay for a few days this week. Which will mean that my house will be a mess and I’ll get little alone time, but then again I get to see baby L, so who cares? I’m SO glad date night is tonight though, cause I know the honeyman and I won’t get much time to hang out this week.

Couldn't if you tried, L.

Bookish update: I’m just about finished with A Feast for Crows, so hopefully I’ll get that review up sometime tomorrow. I’m about 60 pages into In Search of the Multiverse, which is about the likelihood of there being parallel universes and quantam physics and stuff. Which is infinitely interesting and I’m really enjoying it, although I am absolutely covering the pages with pencil marks and post-it notes. And because I make notes and underline things and go online to look up stuff as I go, I’m not exactly getting through it fast. It’s only about 200 pages total though, and now I can really focus on it… hopefully before my sister comes into town. And once I finish that, I think it might be time for a romance novel or something – something light and fluffy brain candy.

So, that’s what I got going on in Sarah World! Hope everybody has a great week!

~Sarah
