October In My Mailbox Vlog!

Hey ya’ll. I recorded this when I was pretty damn sleepy, and I have to get up for work in about… 3.5 hours now. I have bags under my eyes, I’m slouching, and I hit myself in my face with a book. Enjoy.

Here’s what I got In My Mailbox this week (hosted by The Story Siren. Check her out.)

  • Maybe This Time by Jennifer Crusie
  • The Perfect Christmas by Debbie Macomber
  • Simply Irrisistible by Jill Shalvis
  • Sabriel by Garth Nix
  • Alphabet of Thorn by Patricia A. McKillip
  • Selected Poems by W.B. Yeats
  • The Kingdom of Gods by N.K. Jemisin
  • Incendiary by Chris Cleave
  • A War of Gifts by Orson Scott Card
  • The Mermaid’s Mirror by L.K. Madigan
  • Landmark by The Staff of the Washington Post
  • The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr by The Reduced Shakespeare Co.

Goodnight, ya’ll.

  1. Ooh, YAY for The Mermaid’s Mirror!! I LOVED that book, it’s such a good mermaid story, hope you’ll enjoy it :)
And of course special hooray for the Kingdom of Gods, I don’t understand how that series isn’t getting more buzz.
No book buying throughout November and December… That’s gonna be hard!

  2. I have Simply Irresistible as well. It looks super cute! No book buying for two months?! Whoa! Is it because of Christmas? I know you mentioned giving Treland a list.

  3. Mocha ღ Latte

  6. I love when people do vlogs, it is so different and you get to connect with people’s faces. I’m not a huge fantasy fan, so I haven’t heard of many of thsese. I did read Garth Nix when I was in school. I did enjoy it.

  7. Your gonna love that Crusie book :)

  8. I hope you enjoy everything you got this month!! Come check out my IMM!!

  9. So glad to see you got Complete Works Abridged. It is my favorite play and it is hilarious! The more you know about Shakespeare, the better the jokes, but really it’s great even if you don’t know the guy at all. Also if you get a chance to see the play (there’s a filmed version out there. I have it on VHS) do it, because that is also hilarious!

Don't be shy! Comments are a good thing.
