#Readathon Update No. 1



We’re like 5.5 hours in and I decided to do some sort of update post because I’m already getting drowsy. I really wish I had got more sleep last night.

So far…

  • Read four things (see pic above).
  • Had strawberries, and an almond croissant and coffee at Starbucks.
  • Went to bank, pharmacy, post office, and started laundry.

I’m thinking that after I blog hop for a bit and listen to some music to wake myself up, I’m going to start The Sculptor by Scott McCloud. Man that’s a giant book.

How is everyone else doing?




  1. You’re doing fantastic! I think I need a nap too. The Sculptor is a really good book. I found myself wanting to read it a second time right after I finished it.


  2. I didn’t get very much sleep last night either. I went to bed early, but woke up a bunch of times… it was annoying! I took a walk around lunch, but may still need a nap later. The Sculptor is giant, but I’ve heard lots of good things about it!


  3. I’m starting to get sleepy too. It’s only 8pm here but I’m already starting to get that ‘what have I doooone’ feeling where the duvet starts to look like the best thing EVER.
    You’re doing great though, and hey! Strawberries, croissant and coffee sounds like an amazing start to your day. Maybe I should eat some fruit soon, instead of relying on the veggies on this pizza. πŸ˜›
