GET READY – BOUT OF BOOKS 12.0 is coming up!

Bout of Books, my favorite-est of the readathons, is coming up! It’s running from January 5th to January 11th, so mark it down now! On your calendar, or in your phone, or whatever.

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 5th and runs through Sunday, January 11th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 12 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team

Reasons you should join in:

  1. NO pressure. Except for this post, pressuring you to join. But just read whenever!
  2. FUN.
  3. Crazy awesome Twitter chats with fellow readathoners. If that’s your thing.
  4. There are challenges, which are optional, but usually pretty nifty.
  5. Look cool doing it.

I am psyched! What an awesome way to start off 2015 🙂 Go sign up now!

  1. I want to take part so badly but for the first time in YEARS, I don’t think I can! Nooooo! I have a pretty big interview on the Tuesday – the kind that requires cramming beforehand and possible a stiff drink afterwards – and if I hear from any of the other jobs I’ve applied to this week, those interviews will probably be around the same time, because POST NEW YEAR EFFICIENCY, DUDES. Maybe I’ll just commit at the last minute if the rest of that week stays free. Or stalk everybody else and just read ninja-like without posting about it all week. 😦

    1. You can do it! I really don’t post that much – I have the one post that I just update throughout the week, because I’m lazy, lol. You can still join in here and there 🙂 That’s the great thing about BoB!

Also, good luck with your interview!!!!
