>Cause it’s been awhile…. Book Blogger Hop!

>Book Blogger Hop

Hoppy Friday! (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Jen over at Crazy-For-Books – and Happy Birthday to her!

It’s been a bit since I’ve done a blog-hopping thingy, but I liked this week’s question and I could use the distraction while I’m at work today 🙂

This week’s question is….

“Summer is coming quickly – what 2011 summer release are you are most looking forward to?”

My Answer: Sadly, the two books I’m most looking forward to technically aren’t new releases, but rather re-prints.

A special 20th Anniversary edition of Outlander by Diana Gabaldon is being released on July 5th, and I’m super-excited about that. I love Outlander dearly, and can’t wait to have the new edition all pretty-ed up.

And secondly, on June 21st The Summer Garden by Paullina Simons will be released in paperback in the U.S. It was originally published a few years back but it’s HARD to find a used copy for sale at a decent price anywhere. It’s the last in the trilogy about Tatiana and Alexander (from The Bronze Horseman, and Tatiana and Alexander), and I can’t wait to finally see how their story ends. :o)

So those are mine! What books are you excited for this summer?

  1. >I have been wanting to read The Bronze Horseman for a really long time, I have seen a lot of great reviews of it. I did not know it was a trilogy.

  2. >I look forward to your review of Ender's Game if you choose it. I've had that one on my TBR list for quite some time and it keeps getting shuffled down the list, oops! I think ALL my TBR books sound really good though, so it's hard. Anyway, ttyl and stop by my FF/hop or read some of my recent reviews when you have some time! I'm an old follower by the way… :)-Sandra from http://sandrathenookworm.blogspot.com

  3. >I have a handful of books I want to read coming out this summer– most are sequels! Re-prints are exciting release's, too. I was excited when The BabySitters Club Books came back out. And now Animorphs!~Brookehttp://brookesboxofobooks.blogspot.com

  4. >Stopping by from the Blog Hop.I am finding so many books that I haven't heard of.Stop by my blog if you like so you can see my answer to this week's question.Elizabethhttp://silversolara.blogspot.com
