>In My Mailbox VLOG #2

Okay, welcome to this week’s In My Mailbox, which is hosted by The Story Siren. Check out the link for info on participating :o)

1 – Excuse my over-use of the word “interesting”. It’s definitely kind of weird to see yourself video taped and then realize all your annoying little habits. I need a thesaurus.
2 – I also stumble over my words a lot in this… sorry. I’m tired.
3 – The quality kind of sucks… I think it’s because I recorded directly to youtube, instead of doing it on my webcam and then uploading.

Books featured:

The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown
Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand by Helen Simonson
Freedom by Jonathan Franzen
Bright-Sided by Barbara Ehrenreich
The Complete Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook: Man Skills
Changing Planes by Ursula K. Le Guin
The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak
The Wonder of Genetics by Richard Kowles

  1. >Just a follower passing by. I will be interested to see your review on The Book Thief, because I couldn't get into it either (and never finished it). Maybe your review will convince me to revisit it! Great books this week!Somer @ A Bird's Eye Review

  2. >I'm just commenting, as I actually got no books of my own this week (holding back… :/)I actually had no difficulty getting into The Book Thief and I enjoyed it immensely! I wish you good luck with it, though! I'm sure you'll get into it eventually! The Weird Sisters is now on my to-read list! Sounds interesting! Thanks!

  3. >Sarah: You've got some of my favorite reads in your stack. You are brave to do a Vlog. I am too frightened. I can't watch it now but I will pop back over to watch it soon. Belle
