Book Blogger Hop

Alright, it’s Friday – time to BLOG HOP! The weekly Blog Hop is hosted by Jen at Crazy-For-Books, please visit there to participate!

This week’s hop question is…
“What book are you most looking forward to seeing published in 2011? Why are you anticipating that book?”

Hmmmmm… good one! There are a whole bunch I’m looking forward to this year – I even marked them all on my calendar at home (boy did the honeyman tease me then!), but I have to say that the one I’m looking forward to the most is The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss (release date March 1st 2011). And here’s why.

Patrick Rothfuss wrote an absolutely AMAZING fantasy novel called The Name of the Wind, and it is the beginning to the Kingkiller Chronicle trilogy. Soooo, The Wise Man’s Fear is book #2 for that trilogy and I have been waiting for it for ages! If you haven’t read The Name of the Wind, please do. Even if fantasy isn’t normally your thing. It was such a fantastic book. I’m planning to re-read it in February so it’s all fresh in my mind for when the new book hits the stores. And yes, I will go buy that hardcover book the day is comes out!

So, what new release are you looking forward to this year? See you on the hop!

  1. >I think I might have to read that Sarah! Thanks for the tip!I am looking forward to the newest Outlander novel. I know it's probably won't be out this year, but here's to hoping! Oh, and the last novel in the Eragon series, which again won't be out this year. I suck at this game. LOL
