>Every year, my local library holds a HUGE booksale at the nearby mall, and I love it! About 20 long tables set up with a ton of all kinds of books – hardcovers $1, paperbacks 50 cents. Last year I bought forty-something books… this year I was able to restrain myself a bit, lol. I only bought 17.
On the top: this is actually an ARC I received in the mail today – Madame Toussad by Michelle Moran
Left stack, top to bottom:
~Lady Whistledown Strikes Back by Julia Quinn & co-authors
~Panther in the Sky by James Alexander Thom
~Sandcastles by Luanne Rice
~To Be A Slave by Julius Lester
~The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
~The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain
~ King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table by Roger Lancelyn Green
~White Teeth by Zadie Smith
~Say You’re One of Them by Uwem Akpan
Right Stack, top to bottom:
~Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury (bought this for my honeyman)
~The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton
~Feed by M.T. Anderson
~Uglies by Scott Westerfield
~Durable Goods by Elizabeth Berg
~The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood
~The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
~Off Season by Anne River Siddons
All in all, a pretty good haul for only $9! I might check back there on Monday, when books are $3 for all you can fit in a bag.
Also, after I finish the Harry Potter book I’m currently reading, I’ll be starting that Michelle Moran ARC, so keep an eye out for that review – the book will be released February 15th, so my review will give you time to decide whether or not to get it!

>Greece Ridge mall? If so, I was there today too!
I LOVE the sale every year, and the one they do at the library in May. I work at the Greece Library.
>I love that idea!! I wish my town did something like that. =( LOL. It might jsut be something I have to start up!–Ashley (Bookaholic Does Blogging)
>I love a good booksale, every year the Save the Children has a MASSIVE sale at the University of WA, usually around 4-5 dollars a book or $10 for a whole box (regardless of box size!), it's one of my favourite days of the year
Some great finds you got there.
>Library sales rock!! Our Friends of the Library has 4 per year — I try to only go to 1, since I have a hard time controlling myself.
>How funny is that?! We live in the same town! I think this calls for a B&N/lunch meet up one of these days!
I got like 40 books yesterday lol. I always go overboard. Do you go to the sale in May too that they hold in the library? I like that one even better because it's not nearly as crazy. I think I might go back on Monday to do the $3/bag deal because it's also my birthday so I go every year.
If you ever see me in the library, come say hi! i work at the circulation desk for now until I get my Library master's degree.
>I wish the books at my library sale were this inexpensive! Some of them are as much as $4–still an inexpensive read but since I really don't need more books, I can never justify spending more than $20, even if it is for a good cause, so I rarely come home with more than 8-10 books.
